Everything you need to get the most out of The Broadcast™ — and how to reach us when you need a human.

User Guide

Getting started — building your show website

  • ✓Create your account, then answer four short screens about your show: its name, what it covers, who listens, and how it sounds. About five minutes.
  • ✓When you press the last button, our AI writes your whole website — homepage, every episode, your bio, a media kit, a guest page and a contact page. It takes about a minute, so stay on the page while it works.
  • ✓You can preview your site straight away. When you choose a plan and press Publish, it goes live at a free web address of your own: yourshow.thebroadcastai.app.
  • ✓Want a second site? Use the "+ New site" button on your dashboard. How many you can have depends on your plan.

Changing the words on your pages

  • ✓Open a site from your dashboard to see its pages. Click any page to start editing it.
  • ✓Everything the AI wrote can be changed — headlines, the main text, and the wording on buttons. Edit until it sounds like you.
  • ✓Prefer a fresh take? Ask the AI to rewrite the page instead. That replaces what is on the page, including any edits you made by hand.
  • ✓Your changes go live on your site as soon as you press Save.

Your episodes

  • ✓Your podcast host gives you a feed address — a plain web address that lists every episode you have published. It is the same one Apple Podcasts and Spotify use, so it is safe to share with us.
  • ✓Look for "RSS Feed" in your host’s settings. Buzzsprout, Spotify for Creators, Libsyn, Podbean and Transistor all have one.
  • ✓Paste that address into your site settings and your episodes appear on your site by themselves. There is nothing to upload.
  • ✓When a new episode shows up in your feed, we put the episode page on your site on its own and, on a plan, write its show notes. You do not have to sign in.
  • ✓You can read and change any episode page or set of show notes from the Episodes tab.

Guests and their share pages

  • ✓Add guests from the Guests tab on any site. Each guest gets their own page with their bio, their episode, and buttons for sharing it.
  • ✓One click emails a guest their page, so they can share their appearance with their own audience — which brings their listeners to you.
  • ✓Every email to a guest has an Unsubscribe link. If they use it, we won’t send them your show’s emails again, and we’ll tell you if you try.

Your weekly email

  • ✓Once your site is live on a plan, you get a short email each week: how many people visited, how that compares with last week, and which pages they read most.
  • ✓Each one ends with a single suggestion in plain English — an episode topic worth trying, or a page worth freshening up.
  • ✓The numbers come from simple counting on your own site. There are no cookies and no outside tracking companies involved.
  • ✓Don’t want it? Use the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of them. You’ll still get the emails about your account, your sites and billing.

Plans and payment

  • ✓Building your site and previewing it are free. Publishing it needs a plan, and so does the AI that keeps it current: show notes for new episodes, the weekly check of how AI describes your show, the weekly email, and the Ask and concierge on your site.
  • ✓The AI you use from your dashboard needs a plan too: writing show notes, turning an episode into other content, the sponsorship pitch, and rewriting a page. So do the AI parts of a site built from your website: the headline tailored to each visitor, and the written replies to the assessment and the home valuation. Without a plan those forms still pass visitors’ details on to you.
  • ✓Solo: $49/mo, or $39/mo billed yearly. 1 site, Your site written by AI, from your answers or your current website, Change any word yourself, any time, Use your own domain (you own it), Download all your content any time, so you are never locked in.
  • ✓Studio: $99/mo, or $82/mo billed yearly. Up to 5 sites, Everything in Solo.
  • ✓Agency: $249/mo, or $208/mo billed yearly. Up to 25 sites, Everything in Studio, Priority support.
  • ✓The current prices for each plan are on the Pricing page, and again on your Billing page before you pay. Nothing is charged until you confirm it there.
  • ✓You choose monthly or yearly on the Billing page.

Using your own domain name

  • ✓Every published site gets a free web address — yourshow.thebroadcastai.app. There is nothing to set up.
  • ✓A domain is a web address you buy and own, like yourshow.com. On every plan you can point one at your site so visitors see your name instead of ours.
  • ✓Type your domain into your site settings, then sign in wherever you bought it and add the two records we show you: one proves the domain is yours, the other tells browsers where to find your site. Then press Check now.
  • ✓Changes like that usually take under an hour, but can take up to a day. Your free web address keeps working the whole time, so nothing goes down.
  • ✓If any of that sounds like too much, email us — we will finish the connection for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

I forgot my password. How do I get back in?

On the sign-in page, click "Forgot password?" and type your email. We’ll send you a link — click it and choose a new password. You can also skip passwords entirely: pick "Email me a link" on the sign-in page and clicking that link signs you straight in. Google and Microsoft sign-in also work, as long as you used one of those to sign up.

How do I change my plan or cancel?

Go to Billing from your dashboard. You can switch plans there any time. If you cancel, your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. Yearly plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee; monthly payments are not refunded, except where the law says otherwise. The full wording is in our Terms.

How does the AI actually build my site?

You answer a few questions about your show. Claude — the AI we use — reads your answers and writes every page for your show in particular. It is not a template with your name dropped in. You can change anything it wrote, or ask it to have another go at a page.

What is a feed address, and where do I find mine?

It is a plain web address your podcast host creates for you that lists every episode you have published — the same one Apple Podcasts and Spotify use. Look for "RSS Feed" in your host’s settings: Buzzsprout has it under Podcast Settings, Spotify for Creators under "Your RSS distribution", and Libsyn, Podbean and Transistor keep it under Settings or Distribution. Paste it into your site settings and your episodes start appearing.

We said the feed "needs attention" — what do I do?

It means we tried to read your feed and could not. Usually the address has a typo, or your podcast host changed it. Open the address in a browser: if it does not load for you, it will not load for us either. Copy a fresh one from your host and save it again. Still stuck? Email us and we will look at it.

How do I use my own domain name?

Your own domain is included on every plan. Type it into your site settings, then sign in wherever you bought the domain and add the two records we show you on that screen, and press Check now. It usually takes under an hour to take effect, and your free web address keeps working the whole time. If you would rather not touch it, email us and we will finish it for you.

Where do the numbers in my weekly email come from?

Your show site counts its own page visits — no cookies and no outside tracking companies. Each week we add up the views, compare them with the week before, and write you a short summary in plain English with one suggestion.

Do new episodes really publish themselves?

Yes. Once your feed address is saved, we check it regularly. When a new episode turns up, we put the episode page on your site on its own and, on a plan, write its show notes — you do not even need to sign in.

Who owns the content on my site?

You do. Your show info, your episodes, and the AI-written copy generated from your answers are all yours to use however you like.
